Revenue Officers at a salary of $18 per mensem. These recruits will take the places in the urban district of more experienced

officers who will be drafted to the New Territories.

these appointments I would add that it is proposed to debit the cost of their salaries, travelling allowances and other

expenses incurred in their work the exact total of which cannot be estimated at present to a new subhead "Emergency

expenses rising from the Sino-Japanese conflict" under Head 12, Imports and Exports Office.
